Northridge Locals Remember Kobe Bryant On Crash Anniversary

Locals honored the basketball legend Wednesday, the two year anniversary of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and seven others.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Northridge locals remembered basketball legend Kobe Bryant on Wednesday, the two year anniversary of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe and Gianna Bryant and seven others.

Locals came together to create a memorial at the Kobe Bryant mural in Northridge. The mural, located at 8906 Reseda Boulevard, is one of 626 murals depicting the basketball legend around the world.

The Northridge memorial is just one of many demonstrations around Los Angeles Wednesday commemorating the two-year anniversary of the crash that killed Kobe and Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester and Ara Zobayan.
