Porto's Introduces New Churro Croissant
Just when you thought the Porto's menu couldn't get any better... they rolled a croissant in cinnamon sugar.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — As if a Porto's in Northridge wasn't good enough. The bakery recently added a new sweet treat to its menu, and it's rolled in cinnamon sugar.
The long anticipated Porto's Northridge location opened in April 2022, a grand opening met with lines and tons of online buzz.
The famous bakery recently added a new item to its menu that turns its beloved croissant — reportedly one of the best in LA — into a sweet churro-style treat. The "Sweet Churro Croissant" is glazed in simple syrup and coated with cinnamon sugar. But not just any cinnamon sugar, cinnamon carefully sourced from Indonesia.

"All these factors combined make our cinnamon sugar mix sweet, fragrant, and warm," a Porto's representative told Patch.
The bakery recommends pairing the churro croissant with a latte.

Los Angeles locals have taken to social media to show their excitement about the new menu item.
"The rumors are true... Porto's has a churro croissant now and it's perfection," one person wrote on Twitter.
"So sorry if you're not in LA this doesn't apply to you but Porto's now has churro croissants and I'm telling everyone I know," another said.
