Kaiser Announces Elimination Of Dozens Of Positions

21 positions from Pleasanton are on the chopping block.

PLEASANTON, CA — Kaiser is cutting numerous jobs from the East Bay and Southern California, the East Bay Times reported today.

According to that article, which attributes the information to official filings with state labor officials, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals disclosed plans to trim more than four dozen California jobs, most of them in the Bay Area.

The announcement comes just days after more than 75,000 unionized employees of Kaiser walked off the job, marking the largest health care worker strike in US history.
