Armed Home-Invasion Robbery Arrests As Suspects Linked To More Crimes
The suspects, linked to multiple Bay Area burglaries, were captured with help from a K-9 unit.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Four suspects tied to a violent home-invasion robbery earlier this month in San Leandro have been arrested following a multi-agency investigation that also uncovered other burglary activity across the East Bay, police announced.
The case began around 5 a.m. on May 4, when two masked suspects forced their way into a home in the 14700 block of Bancroft Avenue, holding three victims at gunpoint while stealing electronics, cash, and a 2025 Tesla Model Y, which was later found abandoned.
San Leandro detectives identified the suspects as Oakland residents Isaiah Ruiz-Sandoval, 24, and Isaias Jimenez-Garcia, 20, and secured warrants for their arrest. Surveillance efforts on May 14 led to the arrest of Julian Solorio, 25, of San Francisco, who was seen committing auto burglaries in Oakland. Ruiz-Sandoval evaded capture that day.
Early the next morning, officers responded to another burglary in progress, this time on Trojan Avenue in San Leandro. After a brief foot pursuit assisted by Alameda County deputies and a K-9, officers arrested Ruiz-Sandoval and Javier Romero-Flores, 21, of Oakland. Jimenez-Garcia was taken into custody later that day in Hayward.
“This case showcases how quickly an investigation can evolve and connect to other crimes,” said Lt. Abe Teng. “It also highlights our officers’ commitment to protecting our community.”
Police credited teamwork with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and Oakland Police Department for helping close the case.
