• San Leandro woman fatally shot while driving in Oakland (mercurynews.com) — A 40-year-old San Leandro woman was fatally shot while driving early Sunday in East Oakland, near the San Leandro border on MacArthur Boulevard. Police say she was alone in the car when someone opened fire, and investigators are still working to determine a motive and whether she was the intended target, asking anyone with information, photos, or video to come forward.
