SRVUSD Announces State Of The School District Breakfast

Tickets are now on sale for the event which is sponsored in part by the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation.

SAN RAMON, CA — Tickets are now on sale for The San Ramon Valley Unified School District's annual State of the School District Breakfast, SRVUSD said in an email to Patch.com last week.

According to the email, the breakfast, which is sponsored in part by the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation and SRVUSD, the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, will feature updates from Superintendent Dr. John Malloy.

The annual event, which will be held at the Crow Canyon Country Club, 711 Silver Lake Drive in Danville, is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. with check-in opening at 7:30 a.m.

Special guest speaker Dr. Sabba Quidwai, a former high school teacher and education executive at Apple, will give a keynote speech on “Designing Schools in the Age of AI”.

"Quidwai now works with organizations to design schools that give young people the mindset and skills to thrive in workplaces and as global citizens," Ilana Israel Samuels, SRVUSD director of communications said in the email. "Don't miss out on this opportunity to hear directly from a leader in the world of AI!"

Tickets purchased by Oct. 4 are available at the discounted rate of $25. Tickets purchased after that date will be sold for $35 until the Oct. 10 registration deadline, the email said. tickets can be purchased online by clicking here.
