4 Arrested On Firearms & Narcotics Charges After Search Warrant Served

Assault weapons, handguns, fentanyl & heroin were among the haul, according to the Lakeside office of San Diego Co. Sheriff's Department.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The Sheriff's Department Thursday announced that four suspects were arrested in the neighborhood of Encanto on numerous charges involving narcotics and firearms.

On Wednesday, deputies from the Lakeside Sheriff's Substation's Crime Suppression Team and the Sheriff's Special Enforcement Detail served a search warrant at a house in the 6000 block of Shaules Avenue in the City of San Diego in an ongoing narcotics and weapons investigation.

During the search, deputies found more than 20 illegally possessed assault weapons and handguns, as well as more than a pound of fentanyl and a quarter-pound of heroin.

Deputies arrested four suspects on felony narcotic, firearms and burglary charges.

Suspects arrested were identified as 33-year-old Ronnie Denniston, 44- year-old Forest Hopster, 26-year-old Reyes Hopster and 27-year-old Kyle Hagan.
