'Friday Nights Live' Kicks Off Friday In Santee

SANTEE, CA — Friday Nights Live kicks off this Friday in Santee.

The second annual series, which was held on Thursdays last year, serves as an early kick-off to summer with free family fun and entertainment.

Cover band It's Never 2L8 will take the stage Friday at Santee Trolley Square. The event will also feature activities for children, including caricatures, face painting and rock climbing.

Friday Nights Live will take place on Fridays through June 9. The lineup for the rest of this year's series includes Expressions Dance and Movement Center on May 26, Bill Magee Blues on June 2, and Staump Music School on June 9. All events are scheduled from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Santee Trolley Square amphitheater.
