SANTEE, CA — Santee Lakes is lit up and ready for the holiday season. The "Lights at the Lakes" holiday show kicks off Friday at Santee Lakes.
The drive-through light show, which first debuted last holiday season, features a mile of dazzling light displays synchronized to holiday music on a radio station.
Lights at the Lakes will take place on select dates through Dec. 28. Santa will make an appearance Dec. 21, 22 and 23.

Tickets are required and must be purchased prior to the event. Tickets cost $19.99 plus applicable fees for vehicles up to eight passengers, and $29.99 plus applicable fees for vehicles with more than eight passengers.
Attendees can choose to purchase light-up novelties and popcorn from Popping Duo while purchasing tickets online. Novelties will also be for sale at the event.

The event is at 9310 Fanita Parkway in Santee. Vehicles enter the light show at 9120 Carlton Oaks Drive, just south of the park entrance.
