'Lights At The Lakes' ​Holiday Show To Return To Santee Lakes

The drive-through light show features a mile of dazzling light displays synchronized to holiday music.

SANTEE, CA — It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.

The "Lights at the Lakes" holiday show will return this weekend to Santee Lakes. The drive-through light show, which first debuted last holiday season, features a mile of dazzling light displays synchronized to holiday music on a radio station. The show is about 15-20 minutes long.

Lights at the Lakes will take place on select dates Dec. 1-28. Santa will be at the festive event on Dec. 21, 22 and 23.

Tickets are required and must be purchased prior to the event. Tickets cost $19.99 plus applicable fees for vehicles up to eight passengers, and $29.99 plus applicable fees for vehicles with more than eight passengers.

Guests can choose to purchase light-up novelties and popcorn from Popping Duo while purchasing tickets online. Novelties will also be for sale at the event.

The event is at 9310 Fanita Parkway in Santee. Vehicles enter the light show at 9120 Carlton Oaks Drive, just south of the park entrance.
