McTeacher's Night​ To Raise Funds For Santee School

SANTEE, CA — Local teachers will serve dinner Wednesday at the Santee McDonald's to help raise funds for Carlton Hills School.

A portion of sales from McTeacher's Night will be donated to the elementary school.

"It's a great opportunity to help raise money for our local schools and get the community together," said Sydney Shriver, fundraising liaison for the McDonald's in Santee.

The location first hosted a McTeacher's Night fundraising event for Carlton Hills School in 2022.

"They had a great turn out the first time they did it," Shriver told Patch. "We have hosted their school every year since then. Each year they have raised more than the last."

Staff, teachers and volunteers with Carlton Hills School PTA will greet guests and serve food to customers, Shriver said.

"We also have a spin the wheel and balloons for the kids," she added. "It's always a fun night for the families."

McTeacher's Night will take place from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald's at 8876 Cuyamaca St.
