Santee Lakes To Host 'Wizard Of Oz'-Themed Spooktacular And Trunk-Or-Treat
The family-friendly Halloween event will include candy, games, a donut walk, face painting, food trucks, creepy critters and more.
SANTEE, CA — Community members are invited to Follow The Yellow Brick Road to Santee Lakes for the third annual Spooktacular and Trunk-or-Treat with a Wizard of Oz twist.
This year's theme takes attendees on a festive journey beginning at Gale Farm, through Munchkin Land, past the Poppy Field and Haunted Forest, and finally to the Land of Oz. Along the way, families will meet beloved characters from the classic tale as they make their way down the Yellow Brick Road.
The family-friendly event, scheduled Saturday, Oct. 25, will include games, a donut walk, face painting, Zovargo's creepy critters, inflatables, mini golf and food trucks. Food trucks include Alpine Pinoy Kusina, Kona Ice, Pork Belly BBQ and Taquizas Los Chuchys.

The Trunk-or-Treat Trail will circle Lake 2 and feature local businesses with decorated trunks and booths and candy.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free, but parking costs $10.
