Santee Road Work Slated In May For These Busy Streets
Santee alerts drivers that road work is coming to two major roadways through May 8.
SANTEE, CA — The city of Santee is planning asphalt patching work for two major thoroughfares from May 1 through May 8. Drivers were asked to expect traffic and expect some delays during the repair work.
The much-needed asphalt patching is scheduled for Fanita Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on May 1 through 3. According to the city, the roadwork will affect drivers from Prospect Avenue through the southern city limits.

A second asphalt patching job was slated for night work, affecting traffic on Mission Gorge Road. Work hours for that project would be from 8:30 p.m. through 6 a.m., from Carlton Hills Boulevard to Olive Lane, a city spokesperson said.
