'Santee Salutes' Fourth Of July Celebration To Feature Fireworks, Food And Family Fun

The all-day celebration will include family-friendly activities, live music, a patriotic ceremony, food vendors and a fireworks show.

SANTEE, CA — Community members are invited to Salute America this Fourth of July in Santee.

Santee Salutes, the city's Independence Day tradition, will take place from 2-10 p.m. July 4 at Town Center Community Park East.

The all-day celebration will feature family-friendly activities from 2-8:45 p.m. in the Fun Zone, as well as live music from from 6:30-9 p.m. from dance band Full Strength.

A patriotic ceremony and Military Color Guard will take place at 6 p.m., followed by a fireworks show at 9 p.m.

There will be a variety of food vendors in Food Truck Alley. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks, as well as chairs, blankets and canopies.

Advanced parking reservations are required and cost $10.

A free shuttle service will run from 3-11 p.m. between Costco at 101 Town Center Parkway and the event site. The last shuttle to the event will leave at 8:15 p.m. from Costco.

Town Center Community Park East is located at 550 Park Center Drive.
