Santee Salutes To Light Up The Sky On Fourth Of July
The Independence Day tradition will feature food, games, music and a fireworks show at Town Center Community Park East.
SANTEE, CA — Santee Salutes will light up the sky on the Fourth of July. The Independence Day tradition will feature food, games, music, and of course, a fireworks show.
This year's event will debut Santee's Biggest Backyard, a spin on traditional backyard family fun. Free family-friendly activities will include 20 stations of corn hole, hula hoops, frisbees, oversized badminton, whiffle ball and more. Santee's Biggest Backyard will be open from 2-7:30 p.m.
There will also be a variety of free inflatable activities and group games scheduled every hour on the hour from 3-7 p.m.

Santee Salutes will also offer a variety of food vendors beginning at 4 p.m, a patriotic ceremony at 6 p.m., and music from the 80z All Stars band beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event will close with a sparkling fireworks show at 9 p.m.
Prior to Santee Salutes, the Santee YMCA will offer a free open swim session from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The YMCA is located at 10123 Riverwalk Drive.

Santee Salutes will take place from 2-10 p.m. July 4 at Town Center Community Park East at 550 Park Center Drive.
City officials encouraged attendees to plan ahead and reserve a parking spot, or bike, walk, rideshare or take the trolley to the event.
