Santee Salutes To Light Up The Sky On Fourth Of July

SANTEE, CA — Santee Salutes will light up the sky on the Fourth of July.
The Independence Day tradition will feature food, live entertainment, rides and a fireworks show.
Carnival rides will be back at this year's event. Wristbands for unlimited ride access will be available for $20.

There will be performances by the U.S. Marine Corps Band, PMG (Popular Music Group) and Whiskey Ridge.
There will also be a variety of food options for purchase, with local concession stand Riverwalk Grill barbecuing tasty bites and vendors in Food Truck Alley serving up festive eats.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, as well as chairs, blankets and canopies to the event.
Here is the event lineup:
2 p.m. – Parking lots and carnival rides open
4 p.m. – Food vendors open; U.S. Marine Corps Band, PMG (Popular Music Group)
6 p.m. – Patriotic ceremony; Color Guard
6:30 p.m. – Performance by Whiskey Ridge (country music)
9 p.m. – Fireworks display (music available on SanteeTV)
Santee Salutes will take place from 2-10 p.m. July 4 at Town Center Community Park East at 550 Park Center Drive.
