SANTEE, CA – A Carlton Hills School teacher has been fired for accidentally briefly showing his elementary students “inappropriate” videos instead of a science video, according to ABC10 San Diego.

After the incident last month, the teacher was initially placed on administrative leave, the report said. But after an internal investigation, the Santee School District decided to terminate him.

"Our students’ well-being and education are of the utmost priority. District administration acted swiftly in filling the teacher’s role while on leave to minimize disruption to learning, and a recruitment for a permanent replacement for the affected classes is underway," the school district said in a statement Tuesday, according to the outlet.
