Fuel Spill Shuts Down I-8 Lane, Off-Ramp In East County
Authorities shut down the right lane and off-ramp on eastbound I-8 west of Lake Jennings Parkway, according to Caltrans.

LAKESIDE, CA — A fuel spill shut down a freeway lane and off-ramp Thursday in San Diego's East County.
The accident was reported around 6:40 a.m. near eastbound Interstate 8 at Lake Jennings Parkway in Lakeside, according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log.
Authorities issued a SigAlert and shut down the right lane and off-ramp on eastbound I-8 west of Lake Jennings Parkway, according to Caltrans. The lane and off-ramp were expected to be closed for roughly two hours for cleanup, according to the CHP.

The lane and ramp was reopened by 11 a.m., Caltrans said.
Update: EB I-8 west of Lake Jennings Pkwy, all lanes and ramps open.
