Air Quality Warning Issued For Boulder County

The advisory comes with indoor burning restrictions and a request to limit driving.

BOULDER, CO -- The Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment has issued an air quality warning for the Boulder/Denver area through 4 p.m. Wednesday. An Action Day for Particulates and Visibility is in effect throughout the region.

Indoor burning restrictions and a request to limit driving will be in place through at least 4 p.m. on Wednesday. A strong inversion weather pattern will limit atmospheric mixing and ventilation, according to the CDPHE, and will result in poor visibility and fine particulate matter in the unhealthy for sensitive groups category.
