Attempted Robbery Outside UMC Under Investigation By Police

The incident happened in front of the campus and community building late Wednesday night.

BOULDER, CO -- University of Colorado Police are looking for a suspect they believe is connected to an attempted robbery that occurred Wednesday night at about 11 p.m outside of the University Memorial Center at 1669 Euclid., according to a news release.

The victim reported that a man walked up to her and attempted to take her purse. The victim ran away and the suspect fled as well. The incident occurred just outside the northeast doors, near the ATM machines. The suspect is described as being a middle-aged male wearing a dark blue or black hoodie with the hood pulled up.
