Boulder County Christmas Tree Recycling Locations 2018
Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Superior, Louisville and Erie — where should you take your tree?

BOULDER, CO -- Christmas it over, but the tree remains. Why not give yours one more chance to spread joy by dropping it off at one of the many Christmas tree recycling centers across the county, where it can be chipped into mulch or compost? Wherever you take it, be sure your tree is not bagged, and remove all tinsel and decorations.
Boulder County/City of Boulder - Yard waste and wood drop-off center at 5880 Butte Mill Rd. Curbside collection also available from Western Disposal. Place your tree next to your cart on collection days through January.
Erie - Drop off at the Erie Recycling Center, 1000 Briggs St. Available until Jan. 13.

Lafayette - Drop off Monday–Friday only, 6 a.m.–2:30 p.m. through Feb. 2 at the Lafayette City Service Center, 1700 Avalon Ave., Lafayette.
Longmont - Through Jan. 6, there will be four satellite locations in addition to the city's Waste Diversion Center to drop off your tree in town:

- Roosevelt Park - In the parking lot South of 8th Avenue and Pratt Street, by Roosevelt Activity Pool.
- Garden Acres Park - In the parking lot at 18th Avenue and Tulip Street.
- Kanemoto Park - In the parking lot at South Pratt Parkway and South Coffman Street.
- Centennial Park - In the parking lot at Alpine Street and Verdant Circle.
Louisville - Bring your tree to the curb for pickup by Western Disposal. Leave it alongside your compost cart on your collection day in January. If your tree is taller than 6ft, please cut it into shorter lengths so the driver can fit it on the truck.
Superior - Bring your tree to the town's Yard Waste site at 2125 Honey Creek Ln., Superior.
