  1. A Boulder County couple, Gabe and Tamara Bodner moved into their home in unincorporated Boulder County the morning of the Marshal Fire and is now fighting their insurance company to cover all the losses. According to CBS Denver, "all that was left of the house was ashes. In shock, they called their insurer only to get a second jolt. Gabe Bodner says the insurer told them it didn't consider their claim the loss of a primary residence: "Because you hadn't actually slept in the home and occupied the home, we can't and we're not considering it your primary residence." In addition to fighting the insurance company the couple has reportedly had to do battle with the Boulder County Planning and Zoning Department. According to CBS Denver, "Tamara says, they would give up on the home if they could afford it, "We have tried to figure out, can we just buy another property and walk away from this, we can't so we just have to fight the fight."' 3. Bouder is synonymous with good eats, making it a no-brainer that Blackbelly is expanding to include a new private dining room that will be able to seat about 30 to 50 guests, a new patio this spring and a larger market and butcher shop. The only full-service, custom, whole-animal butcher shop and market in Boulder, Blackbelly, located at 1606 Conestoga St., is excited about its expansion. (303 Magazine)
