Boulder Police Investigate Crash Involving Child On Linden

Police are seeking help from any community members who might have information related to the incident.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder police are investing a serious crash involving a child that occurred at approximately 8:04 a.m., this morning, at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Spring Valley Road, according to a press release from the police department. A 13-year-old who attends Centennial Middle School was reportedly crossing Spring Valley Road towards the school bus stop when he was stuck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Linden Avenue.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The child currently being treated at Children’s Hospital, and the extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.

Boulder police urge anyone that saw the child begin to cross the street and/or the crash to call Officer Charlene Hofmann at 303-910-7784.
