Boulder Police Respond To Suspected Shooting
The 2 a.m. noises that woke neighbors were discovered to be the work of a BB gun.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder police reported to a suspected shooting shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning only to discover the noises that woke neighbors had actually come from a BB gun, according to a news release from the Boulder Police Department. Police received a call from a resident at the Vista Ridge Mobile Home park who said she had heard three loud "pops" and noticed three holes in her window.
The resident told police that she believed that someone had shot at her window. She further reported quickly looking out the window and seeing what she believed to be a sedan driving away from her home.
Multiple officers reported to the area. While checking at the residence for any victims, officers discovered that the three holes in the window had been made by BB gun pellets, which were discovered trapped between two panes of glass, according to the release. Though shaken up, no one in the home was physically harmed.
