Boulder Police Seek Man Who Attempted To Lure Child Into Vehicle
Police report that the man approached a boy who was walking home from school.
BOULDER, CO -- Local police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who they believe attempted to lure a 10-year-old boy into his vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. According to a press release from the police department, the boy was walking home from school at approximately 3 p.m. when he was approached near the intersection of 15th Street and Orchard Avenue.
The man asked if the boy needed a ride, police report, and asked him to get into the vehicle. The boy refused, ran home, and told his parents who contacted the police.
Police describe the suspect as middle-aged, white, and with scruffy facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was also wearing a green hat and driving an older-model red van in dirty and poor condition.

Police have increased patrols in the area.
