- Boulder swim team, lost its long-time head coach. The new hiree is Jordan Moore-Brown from Tennessee. His resume reportedly includes 12 years of coaching experience, including leading age-group and senior swimmers into championships, All-Star teams, and USA Top 10 Times. International applicants applied for the position but Moore-Brown shined the brightest. According to the Left Hand Valley Courier, "Kevin Gylnn, vice president of the Board of Boulder Swim Team said, "[Moore-Brown's] passion for swimming, especially about the nuances of modern technique and information, really impressed us." Jill Tappert, president of the board, said, "We stayed strong during this time of transition because of the dedication of our coaches and swimmers. We like who we are, and we're about to be even better." (Left Hand Valley Courier)

- What was first reported as a "slow-moving" grass fire near 95th Street and Blue Heron Way ended up needing the assistance of several fire departments to extinguish. Lafayette Fire, Louisville Fire, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue and Mountain View Fire Rescue all responded to the incident. Flames reportedly rose to approximately a foot high and the fire spread to about two acres on Monday, before crews were able to stop it. According to a post from Mountain View Fire Rescue, no buildings were damaged and the cause is not known." (Colorado Home Town Weekly)
