City Of Boulder To Sell Properties At 30 Pearl

One parcel is available immediately, while two others will be offered at a later date

BOULDER, CO -- The City of Boulder released a call for offers Monday for three sites at the 30 Pearl property, located on the northeast corner of the intersection of 30th Street and Pearl Parkway in the Boulder Junction development. According to a press release from the city, the properties are intended to be developed as a mix of market-rate residential for-sale condos, townhomes, co-housing/ cooperative housing, as well as affordable commercial spaces.

One site will be for sale immediately and the other two will be made available at a later date to be posted on the City of Boulder website. Boulder Housing Partners, the city housing authority, will be in charge of the site level planning, utility, and affordable housing entitlements for the project. As such, all three of the sites for sale are required to be developed in coordination and corporation with Boulder Housing Partner’s properties, the city reports.

Boulder's inclusionary housing ordinance requires that all new residential development contribute 25% of the total dwelling units as permanently affordable housing, and this mandate will be in effect for the 30 Pearl development. Further, the project's master developer has committed to constructing 100 percent of the required affordable housing on site.
