Here's how to register for emergency alerts in Boulder County.
BOULDER COUNTY, CO — The Boulder County government urges residents to sign up for emergency alerts, so they won't miss important warnings.
The alert system allows people to be notified of emergency situations on their cell phones, home and work phones, and by text messaging and e-mail.

There are 29 outdoor warning sirens set up across Boulder County, including in Boulder, Erie, Jamestown, Lafayette, Louisville, Lyons, Marshall, Eldorado Springs, Superior and the University of Colorado Boulder. Sirens are meant to reach people that are outside, not indoors.
