  1. Don't miss downtown Boulder's, first of its kind, Après Street Fest, wintertime event. Complete with a cozy mountain town ambiance reminiscent of "après-ski" on Pearl Street's West End this event will be taking place on Sunday, March 12 starting at 11 a.m. It will be free and open to the public. It will include, fire pits, live musical ensembles, hot cocoa, outdoor picnic-style seating and games. In addition, West End restaurants will be open to serve nibbles and sips and outdoor enthusiasts will have the opportunity to shop for gear from select downtown retailers. Hope to see you there! 2. Once again, on Wednesday, several Colorado schools were temporarily placed under secure status due to threats. Reportedly, Boulder High School, Pennock Elementary in Brighton and Aspen schools were placed on secure status after receiving swatting threats. According to Canon City Daily Record, "swatting threats are when a person makes a false report of a threat in an attempt to prompt a large law enforcement response. The secure status at each school was lifted after no threats were found." (Canon Canon City Daily Record)
  3. Joining organizations across the nation, Meals on Wheels of Boulder will be part of the "March for Meals" event happening March 20 through March 24. The goal of the event is to spread the word and bring more awareness to the mission, which is to provide hot, nutritious meals and a daily well-being check to Boulder neighbors, regardless of age or income. During this week-long event, several fun activities are planned. For more information click here. (Prime Time News)
