Longmont Skydiving Death Ruled Accident By County Coroner
The cause of death has been listed as multiple blunt force injuries.

LONGMONT, CO -- The Boulder County Coroner's Office has ruled the October 2018 skydiving death of Logan Polfuss an accident, according to reporting from the Longmont Times-Call. Polfuss, 23, was found dead on Oct. 19 in a field near the Vance Brand Municipal Airport in Longmont the day after he went skydiving at Mile-Hi Skydiving Center. The Federal Aviation Administration had previously concluded the death was an accident after a preliminary investigation in December.
According to the autopsy report, Polfuss died of multiple blunt force injuries, states the Times-Call. The exact timing of his death was unclear from the report. It also indicated that according to information from the FAA investigation, Polfuss was not using the proper equipment, didn't have his equipment up to standards and did not have enough experience for the specialized suit he was using at the time of the incident.
