Louis Sebastian Found Guilty Of First Degree Murder
Verdict reached in the two-week trial over charges in a 2017 fatal downtown Boulder shooting.
BOULDER, CO -- Louis Sebastian was found guilty of first degree murder today in the 2017 shooting death of Christopher King on Boulder's Pearl Street Mall, according to reporting from the Daily Camera. Sebastian was also convicted of unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon. He has been sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole.
"Obviously we're very pleased for the victim's family that the jury came back with a guilty verdict, and we're grateful to the jury for their service" said Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty told the Daily Camera. "On May 29, 2017, the defendant stole Christopher King from this world and terrorized people inside the Bramble & Hare. So many of the people in the Bramble & Hare responded and did everything they could to help the victim and also to subdue the defendant."
