Man Assaults, Injures Elderly Woman On Her Porch: Police
Boulder police seek information about the man who attacked an elderly woman at her home and stole her purse.

BOULDER -- Police are looking for a suspect after an elderly woman was robbed on Tuesday evening while standing on her front porch looking at her mail, according to a report from the Boulder Police department. The suspect allegedly approached the woman from behind at her home in the 3100 block of 11th Street, and said, "gimme your purse," according to police. When she did not comply, the suspect pulled so hard on the purse he caused the woman to fall and roll down her steps.
Police responded to the incident at about 6:20 p.m. and say that the purse contained the woman's cell phone and wallet, neither of which have been recovered. She was injured and is currently undergoing medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a male in his early 20s, of medium build, between 5'5" and 5'8" tall. He reportedly has a small mustache, and at the time of the incident, he was wearing a light colored hoodie with horizontal stripes.
