Polar Plunge At Boulder Reservoir Saturday

Weather reports got you feeling like you're already about to make a polar plunge? Here's a more fun way to make that happen.

BOULDER, CO -- This year's Polar Plunge will be happening at the Boulder Reservoir Saturday as a fundraiser for Special Olympics Colorado. Each participant must raise a minimum of 75 dollars for the privilege of leaping into the icy waters of the reservoir—ideally in costume.

As this is "first ever" St. Patrick's Day weekend edition of the event, those who jump in St. Patty's Day costumes can be eligible to win the coveted Irish Bear Trophy.

After the plunge, participants can warm up in the Plunge Plaza around the s'mores firepit or while enjoying the hot cocoa bar. The Rayback Collective will also be hosting an After Splash Bash that is free for registered jumpers with beer (for those 21+), food and more.
