Reckless Driver Threatens Head-Ons; Sheriff Seeks Victims
A yellow corvette has been impounded, but the driver has yet to be found.

BOULDER, CO -- A yellow sports car nearly caused multiple head-on collisions on Thursday as it sped along US-36 from Lyons to Boulder, according to a report by the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. The car hit estimated speeds of 150 mph, illegally crossed double yellow lines, and at one point nearly collided with a local sheriff's deputy.
Just after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, the Boulder County Communications Center received numerous phone calls from drivers reporting a yellow sports car driving recklessly. The car, later identified as a yellow corvette, is registered to, and believed to have been driven by a male who has multiple felony warrants associated with driving violations.
The car was found in a parking garage near the intersection of Folsom Street and Iris Avenue in Boulder. The driver was no longer in the vehicle when it was found, and the vehicle was later impounded.
