Recruitment Opens For Boulder County Advisory Boards
Opportunities include the Energy Impact and Resource Conservation Boards; applications due Jan. 11.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder County is recruiting residents for 35 open positions on advisory boards and commissions this year. The various boards and commissions both provide recommendations to the Boulder County Commissioners and give residents the opportunity to have their voices heard within Boulder County government.
The county is currently looking for volunteers who would like to voice their opinions and help guide decisions on matters ranging from resource conservation to community and work programs. Some of the boards that have a particular need for applicants this year include the Aging Advisory Council, Community Action Programs Administering Board, the Citizen Review Panel, the Historic Preservation Advisory Board, and the Workforce Development Board.
Other boards with vacancies are the Energy Offset Steering Committee, the Resource Conservation Advisory Board, and the influential Planning Commission, among others.
