- "Gone," a solo dance performance by internationally acclaimed choreographer Robert Sher-Machherndl will be held at the Boulder JCC on Thursday, March 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. Sher-Machherndl's highly specialized movement language and deeply embodied body knowledge has been gained and developed over a diverse, illustrious dance career. - The new business, "Goodie Bag," helps restaurants and customers, as well as being a way to stop waste and feed those who are food insecure all whilst adding a bit of mystery and excitement to eating in a new way. This new endeavor, launched by three Boulder students — Luke Siegert, Eddy Connors and Ethan Mills — started in January and is moving forward with momentum. Targeting ways to keep edible food out of landfills and to combat food insecurity, the trio has rounded up eight food partners to begin this journey with. The way it works is that instead of throwing away wrong orders or leftover fresh items at the end of the day or night, they are instead bagged up and sold for a lesser price to those who are signed up on the Goodie Bag. Customers never know what they are going to get and they have to pick up the bags, (which come in two sizes) at the locations they are at. The three student entrepreneurs are hoping to open more Goodie Bags in other college towns soon. For more information, or to sign up, go to https://www.goodiebag.co/. (Boulder Weekly)
