'Sexually Violent Predator' Out Of Jail On Work Release: Sheriff

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office said it is required to alert the public due to the man's "high potential to re-offend."

BOULDER, CO -- A man convicted of a sex offense requiring that he register as a sex offender will be allowed out of the Boulder County Jail under the work release program, according to a news release from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. Nathaniel Kyle Stark, 23, is seeking employment in Boulder County through the program, which will allow him to work outside the Boulder County Jail during the day and then return there at night.

Stark "has been determined to present a high potential to re-offend and is therefore subject to community notification regarding his residence in this community," the sheriff's office said in the news release.

Community members who would like additional information should contact or visit the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. The Colorado Department of Public Safety has created an education video that community members can watch to learn more about sexually violent predators.
