Snap A Selfie, Win A Dog Cooling Vest: Boulder County Contest

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder County Parks & Open Space is enticing students and teachers in the community to welcome spring break by getting outside with a springtime selfie contest. Contest winners can choose between five prizes that include trekking poles, a monocular with a cell phone photo adapter, and a dog cooling vest.
Photos have to be taken on a Boulder County Open Space property, which means popular spots like Chautauqua and Sanitas aren't eligible—they're owned by the city! Each participant can enter up to three photos, but they must be taken at three different properties.
Those who wish to enter must visit a county-owned open space property during spring break and and take a selfie or a photo friends or family. To be eligible, each photo must include at least one person who is a student or school employee. Submit the photo to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #BoCoSpringOut, and be sure to mention the property where your photo was taken. Photos must be defined as “public” in your social media platform in order for it to be viewed and eligible for prizes. The contest runs from March 23–31.
