Storm Update: Continued Snow Points To Dangerous Commute
It looks like we may hit the upper range of projected accumulation for this storm — here's what that means for your commute home.

BOULDER, CO -- Snow is still falling hard, and current forecasts indicate that it will continue to do so through the evening commute. As much as six inches of accumulation are expected, with even higher amounts possible near the foothills. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Alert for the Boulder area that remains in effect through midnight tonight.
As temperatures continue to drop as we head toward rush hour, snow will begin to accumulate on road surfaces, making for a tricky Friday evening commute. Leave yourself extra time for travel tonight, and drive with caution!
Afternoon Update: Expect difficult travel conditions for the afternoon & evening commute. Colder temperatures this aftn/eve will allow for slick & snow-covered roads to develop. Use particular caution near bridges & over-passes! #COwx pic.twitter.com/zWxhOVEbPq
