Travel Alert: St. Vrain Greenway Segment Closed Until April
An irrigation ditch repair is causing the temporary closure near Martin Street.

LONGMONT, CO -- A portion of the St. Vrain Greenway Trail has been closed for pump station construction through April of next year. The segment lies just to the west of Martin Street, extends east to the Left Hand Greenway Trail, and includes the trail underpass.
The Bonus Ditch Company, in coordination with the City of Longmont, will be replacing its irrigation ditch diversion on St. Vrain Creek, after the diversion structure was completely destroyed in the September 2013 flood. The replacement diversion was designed and permitted as part of the Resilient St. Vrain project.
The closure is anticipated to remain in effect until April 2019. A detour route will be marked along Martin Street and the multi-use path just north of Ken Pratt Boulevard.
