  1. Join other fellow music lovers at Boulder Jam Night which is held on Tuesday nights from 6 to 9 p.m. It is presented by The Coffee Stand (Part of The Riverside Family) located at 1201 Arapahoe Ave., in Boulder. Sign up at 6 p.m. Bands are created at 6:15 p.m. Bring your instruments! Come share food, laughs and tunes. Hope to see you there! (Boulder Colorado)
  2. Monday marks the official start of the spring season, which means that the start date for the Boulder County Farmers Market (BCFM) is just around the corner on April 1. Once again partake in buying fresh, locally sourced food, as well as baked goods, plants and flowers in addition to Colorado-crafted, ready-to-eat foods. BCFM will be open on Saturdays from 8 am-2 pm on 13th Street (between Canyon and Arapahoe). Vendors such as Black Cat Farm, Centennial Cuts, Whitetail Farm Flowers and many more will be on hand. Hope to see you there! (Boulder downtown.com)
  3. The nonprofit rescue group, Rocky Mountain Rescue Group (RMRG) that serves Boulder County, is gearing up to make the seasonal change over from snow gear to hiking boots as it gets ready for an increase of rescue needs heading into the warmer months. Now in its 76th year of operation, RMRG is under pressure to meet the needs of more calls. The team of 75 now responds to approximately 200 calls a year, which according to Boulder Reporting Lab, "is up nearly 40% in less than 10 years." “We see the most accidents when the weather is nice and pleasant to be outside,” said Angela Tomczik, a 10-year veteran of the RMRG team. As more people take to outdoor pursuits that are easily accessible in Boulder, RMRG has also had to grow increasingly efficient, sometimes responding to up to five calls a day in the peak summer season.(Boulder Reporting Lab)
