Vehicular Homicide Suspect: Birthday And A Yellow Corvette
Police have identified a suspect in the Dec. 20 reckless driving incident; seek help in locating him.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder police have identified the driver of a yellow corvette that was allegedly seen driving recklessly, crossing the double yellow line, and reaching speeds of up to 150mph on Highway 36 between Boulder and Lyons Dec. 20. Police believe the man behind the wheel was Alexander Maloney, 51, and have issued a warrant for his arrest. Dec. 20 is Maloney's birthday.
Charges against Maloney include vehicular homicide–criminal attempt, vehicular eluding, reckless endangerment, aggravated driving after revocation, theft of license plates, displayed fictitious plates, reckless driving, and disregarding traffic control devices.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that anyone who was a victim to this reckless driving, in particular, anyone who was nearly hit head-on to contact law enforcement if they have not already.

"We received numerous responses to this request and were able to use the information from the public to help determine the charges against Mr. Maloney," explained the sheriff's office in a press release Friday. "We are now asking that anyone who knows the whereabouts of Sean Maloney to please contact your local law enforcement agency."
