Denver Firefighters Warn Residents Of Scam

According to the Denver Fire Department, someone is claiming to be with the department and asking residents for money.

DENVER, CO—The Denver Fire Department is warning residents to be careful if someone asks them for money on its behalf.

According to firefighters, someone is claiming to be with the department and asking residents for a monetary donation.

However, this is apparently a scam. Denver firefighters said they'd would never ask residents for a cash donation.

For residents who suspect fraud, they are urged to contact the Denver Police Department at 720-913-2000.
