1. 1 injured in late-night Capitol Hill shooting after someone shot at, threw rock at police (fox21news.com) — A late-night shooting in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood led to a shelter-in-place order after someone allegedly threw a rock at officers’ patrol car and then fired shots at them. One man detained during a traffic stop was grazed by gunfire and hospitalized, while another person related to him was arrested on unrelated warrants. Police say nearby protests at the State Capitol earlier that day appear unrelated.
   

2. Central City Opera Announces 'Theatre of Dreams' Gala (operawire.com) — A major black-tie gala is coming to the Denver Art Museum’s Lanny & Sharon Martin Building on April 10, celebrating Colorado’s 150th anniversary and Central City Opera’s 94th festival season. Hundreds hold rally in front of ICE office in Colorado over killing of Renee Good (cbsnews.com) — Hundreds of people gathered Sunday outside a Department of Homeland Security field office in the Denver metro area to protest the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. Demonstrators voiced anger at federal immigration policies, shared conflicting views with officials’ self-defense claims, and framed the killing as a human loss with consequences for communities in Colorado and nationwide.
