Man Charged In Officer-Involved Shooting: Denver DA

Dontari Hudson is facing ten felony charges in connection with last month's shooting of two Aurora police officers.

DENVER, COβ€”Denver District Attorney Beth McCann announced Friday that her office has filed ten felony charges against a man connected with the shooting of several police officers last month.

On July 31, 2020, an armed robbery investigation led by the Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force resulted in the non-fatal shooting of two Aurora police officers in the vicinity of East 47th Ave. of Andes Street in Denver.

According to the district attorney's office, Dontari Hudson is facing three counts of criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree, five counts of assault in the first degree and two counts of aggravated robbery.

Because the arrest affidavit is sealed, the district attorney's office said no additional information is being provided at this time.
