UPDATE: Man Wanted For Fatal Hit-And-Run In Denver Located

Elias Francisco Flores, 54, has been charged with vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run.

DENVER, COβ€”The Denver Police Department announced Thursday that officers have located the suspect wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run that occurred in the city Monday night. Police said 54-year-old Elias Francisco Flores has been taken into custody.

According to police, around 7:52 p.m. in the area of West Mississippi Avenue and South Raritan Street, Flores was seen driving a 2014 white Dodge Ram 1500, four-door pickup truck bearing license plate number ABSX81.

Police said Flores drove onto the north sidewalk of West Mississippi Avenue and struck a pedestrian at a bus stop. He then fled the scene without stopping or calling the police.

The pedestrian died from the injuries sustained in the collision.
