Colfax Art Crawl In Lakewood: Schedule, Activities, Events

The 40 West Arts District announced the Colfax Art Crawl is back, with plenty of entertainment and events.

LAKEWOOD, CO — One of metro Denver's most popular events for artists and art lovers is back in 2021.

The 40 West Arts District is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with the First Friday Colfax Art Crawl on Friday in Lakewood.

The free street party event, which is set to run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. near Teller Street, will include an art parade, food trucks, community murals, kids activities and scavenger hunt prizes, organizers said.

'Project Joy Bomb - Handsome Little Devils' entertainers are set to begin their shows around 6 p.m. at Mint & Serif, and will circle the arts district through Creekside Senior Living and the Casa Bonita area, organizers said.

Then live music is scheduled at 7 p.m. at 16th Avenue, and a variety show is set to begin at 8 p.m.

Free kids craft zones will be set up in front of 40 West Gallery and Liquid Metal Coatings, organizers said.

TH!S Print Design is building a large community paint stanchion for people to paint, and when the vinyl is ripped away at the end of the night, the remaining white space will form a design, the arts district said.
