- Earlier this week, two bodies were found in the Lakewood Village Estates. An investigation of the double homicide is ongoing, with a suspect yet to be identified. Visit The Denver Post to find out more.
- Tuesday night, 50-year-old Craig Bruce was fatally shot while soliciting on the side of the road in Lakewood. The suspect, 40-year-old Aurora man Randy Jiron, is currently being held at Jefferson County Jail. Learn more through Denver 7.
- With money supplied by the American Rescue Plan Act, Jefferson County has accomplished its first project. There is more money left for the county to use in restoration projects. This first project, which was completed in May, was the Drew Hill Road Culvert Project. Read more at Jeff Co. News.
