LAKEWOOD, CO — Shine, radiate, incandesce, luminesce — whichever word you may choose instead, these clouds are certainly glowing. Sharon DeVita caught this other-worldly looking sky in Lakewood this month, and luckily, she snapped a photo. The red clouds are streaked across the otherwise practically black sky in some parts and pale blue in others.

To add to the composition, the black tree outlines in the foreground and peaks in the background contrast perfectly with the vibrant sky. It's akin to a colorful painting with broad brush strokes more than a typical sky. Stunning!
