  1. Early yesterday morning, a Lakewood home experience a house fire. Firefighters treated four people inside the home, with the homeowner being taken to a hospital for their injuries. Emergency responders also rescued eleven cats to take to the vet, but more are still missing. One cat and one dog died in the fire, which was likely started due to electrical issues.   2. Thirty-six-year-old Chastity Mueller has been missing for three weeks. On Tuesday, the CBI issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert for Mueller. Anyone with more information should contact Lakewood Police. To read her description and learn more about the case, visit Denver 7.
  3. Earlier this week, Denver's Lady Nomada opened a second location in Lakewood. The restaurant serves Mexican dishes and cocktails. Read more at The Denver Post.
  4. The family of Amanda Bobain, a 22-year-old woman who was fatally shot last month, is still hoping that the accused killer is found. The incident occurred on South Marshall Street in Lakewood. The accused killer, 24-year-old Patrick Placencio, was upset that Bobain was showing interest in another man when he opened fire. Watch this video via 9 News to learn more.
